Camp check-in will occur on Sunday, July 8th between 12 noon and 2:00pm. Camp will begin at 2:15pm after a welcome and staff introduction meeting.
Camp will end on Wednesday, July 11th at 12 noon after the final tournament play and award ceremony. Parents are welcome to come at 9:00am to watch the
final tournament games and awards. Campers will be responsible for check-out and returning keys at the close of camp. Please pay attention
to the camp signage for more pick-up and drop off info.
Facilities
The campers will use the University of Maryland facilities, turf fields and athletic fields. Water and ice will be available on the field at all times
but players are asked to bring their own water bottle (one will be provided on the first day of camp.) In case of inclement weather we
will have access to the locker room and gymnasium for shelter and limited activity.
Medical Attention
A full time trainer will be available to administer to any illness, and/or minor injuries. Upon application for camp you will be asked to
download a medical waiver form. All campers must send, fax or bring to check in the completed form to Elevate Lacrosse prior to camp or you will not be permitted
to participate in any activities. It is advised that you make and bring copies of this form with you to registration to avoid any delays in play.
If a camper requires any medication that they wish the trainer or camp directors to hold on to, they should bring it clearly labeled
with their name and specific directions and give it to the trainer at check-in.
Lodging & Meals
All overnight campers and camp staff will be housed in University of Maryland dormitories. Roommates will be assigned based on roommate requests on the
application or randomly if not specified. Camp staff will provide 24 hour supervision of the dorms and counselors will have their rooms clearly marked
on each floor. Meals are provided by campus dining and are located near the dorm.
Camp Store
There will be a camp store that will sell lacrosse clothing, equipment and accessories. The store will also offer snacks, sodas, water and sports drinks
for sale. Pizza can be pre ordered from the store at breaks and will be delivered each night after the last session.
Camp Bank
A camp bank is provided to allow campers a secure and safe place to keep money throughout camp. Campers have the option to put money into the camp bank
at check-in and will receive back any remaining balance at check-out.
Rules
All Campers are expected to show utmost respect for staff, other campers and facilities. Elevate Lacrosse and the University of Maryland strictly
prohibit the use and/or possession of drugs, alcohol and tobacco products. Any camper found in violation of these rules will be immediately dismissed
from camp without refund of fees paid.
Equipment
A detailed checklist of equipment required for camp will be emailed along with your confirmation.
Players are expected to have their own women's lacrosse stick, goggles, mouthguard and appropriate footwear.
